Course Brief

Commerce being the life blood of an organization has gained tremendous momentum in the recent years. It has also thrown open multiple job opportunities in both government as well as private sector. The objective of the programme is to provide an in depth knowledge of commerce and allied subjects so as to enable the learner to work in a business establishment or to become an entrepreneur or to pursue higher education. The bachelor of commerce programme will prepare students for any career in general management, banking, financial management, and accounting and information systems. Graduates are also equipped to work as public accountants in public and commercial and government administration, or in private practice. Course focuses on accounting, financial planning, decision making and control in organization. Students will examine the fundamental principles of commerce and business environment, and learn how to apply business principles to contemporary business practices.

A B.Com. graduate may pursue M.Com., MBA or CA after the successful completion of the course.
